Cornerstone Youth Theatre Dress Code
The purpose of a dress code for dance classes is modesty and the elimination of distractions. Thank you for helping us achieve this at Cornerstone. We will allow for a 1-week grace period for students regarding the dress code. If you are waiting on an item you have purchased, please let us know so we can make an exception. Otherwise, starting week 2, students will be asked to sit in the lobby for not following the required attire. Please pay special attention to the following items: Hair must be pulled out of the face for all classes (males and females). Buns for ballet. Dance shoes must be worn for dance classes. No sneakers; no socks only; no bare feet. No bare legs. Females must have tights or leggings, whichever a class requires. Undergarments should not be visible, with the exception of sports bras. UNDERGARMENTS With the exception of sports bras, all undergarments must be covered by clothing. LEOTARDS ALL LEOTARDS for all ages must be fitted, must have a back, and must be solid throughout (no chiffon or see-through areas, nor the appearance of). ***Leotards for ages 10+ must be black.*** Please see examples of acceptable leotards at the amazon links below. These specific ones are not required, but if you need to buy one, this type will work great. |
