20 Hours to Discover Something New

Our 10-week Intro Classes give students 
20 hours of instruction in one of the three essential disciplines of musical theatre: 
Drama , Singing , or Dance . (Tuesdays or Thursdays - 4:30 to 6:30 PM)

These are skill-building classes—but we believe learning and fun belong together! Our experienced teachers know how to teach real technique in a way that keeps students engaged, encourages creativity, builds confidence, and makes them excited to come back each week.

No previous experience is necessary. Intro is where you can begin.



"Little Rascals "INTRO TO MUSICAL THEATER with Jeannette Manser
Learn to Use the Instrument You Already Have.

Little Rascals is a fun, hands-on introduction to the exciting world of musical theatre! Students will explore the three building blocks of the stage—singing, dancing, and acting—while also discovering some of the behind-the-scenes magic that brings a show to life.

Through games, music, movement, and creative activities, students will get an introduction to costumes, stage makeup, props, characters, storytelling, and performance. The emphasis is on participation, imagination, confidence, and having fun while learning how all the different pieces of theatre work together.
No previous experience is needed—just a willingness to jump in, try new things, and have fun!

INTRO TO DRAMA with Laura DeGraff
Find Your Character. Find Your Confidence.

Students learn the fundamentals of acting through scenes, theatre games, improvisation, character work, and plenty of time on their feet.
They'll explore stage directions, projection and diction, physicality, facial expression, character choices, memorization, script work, and working as an ensemble. Along the way, they'll learn how actors take words on a page and turn them into believable, entertaining characters onstage.
Drama class is active, creative, and often very funny—but underneath all that fun, students are building genuine acting and performance skills.
No experience needed—just a willingness to jump in and try!

INTRO TO DANCE with Melodie Bredo
You Don't Have to Be a Dancer to Start Dancing .
Musical theatre performers need to be comfortable learning and performing choreography. Intro to Dance gives students the foundation they need to get started.
Students develop coordination, rhythm, balance, flexibility, basic dance vocabulary, musicality, and the ability to learn and remember choreography. They'll work on foundational movement and combinations that prepare them for the kinds of choreography they will encounter in musical theatre.
Our teachers understand that walking into a dance class can feel intimidating for a beginner. This class is designed to make dance approachable, energetic, and fun while still teaching proper fundamentals.
Students won't just learn a dance—they'll begin learning how to dance.
No dance experience required. Two left feet are welcome.

INTRO TO SINGING
Learn to Use the Instrument You Already Have.

Everyone has a voice. Intro to Singing teaches students how to begin using theirs with greater confidence, control, and understanding.
Through songs and exercises chosen for young performers, students explore breathing, pitch, rhythm, diction, vocal production, musicality, blending with an ensemble, and confident performance.
And because this is musical theatre, we don't just stand in a row and sing scales! Students learn through music they can enjoy while discovering how good vocal technique helps them become stronger, more expressive performers.
You don't have to already be a great singer—that's why we have class!
